Bridgewater-Raritan High School celebrated the induction of 102 students into the World Language Honor Societies on Thursday, May 15/.

The ceremony, which was held in the Bridgewater-Raritan High School auditorium, highlighted the students’ academic excellence and their commitment to fostering their cultural awareness through language learning.

Giuseppina Bologno, the devoted Italian Teacher at Bridgewater-Raritan High School, spoke for all of her colleagues in the World Language department.

“We extend sincere gratitude to LeighAnn Matthews, School District Supervisor of World Language, for her leadership and unwavering support of our language programs. Special thanks as well to Adam Leaman, Assistant Principal at Bridgewater-Raritan High School, for his assistance throughout this special evening,” Ms. Bologno said.

The dedicated Bridgewater-Raritan High School Honor Society Advisors, whose guidance have been vital to the success of the students. are Ms. Bologno, ChiaYing Jen Liu, Giuseppina Di Martino, Lucinda Jaffe, Elizabeth Farshtey, Jennifer Huff, and Shilpa Wakde, whose guidance has been vital to the success of our students.

“To the families and caregivers who joined us: thank you for your continued support. Your involvement strengthens our school community and helps our students thrive,” Ms. Bologno said.

She concluded:

“Congratulations to all new inductees. Your hard work, curiosity, and cultural engagement are truly commendable. We look forward to your continued growth as global citizens and your continued studies of foreign languages!”
