A total of 24 young scientists showcased their projects at the Bradley Gardens Primary School's annual Science Fair on Thursday, May 28.
According to Mary Beth Duffin-Hickey, the Bradley Gardens Elementary Teaching Specialist and the organizer of this creative fair, students developed and presented based on topics that sparked their interest and inspired them to explore scientific questions. The projects covered a variety of subjects and demonstrated the students’ enthusiasm for learning through investigation and discovery.
During the event, several students had the opportunity to share their findings and explain their projects to classmates and parents, according to Ms. Duffin-Hickey. She also stated that their presentations highlighted not only their scientific knowledge, but also their communication skills and confidence as young researchers.
The dedicated and passionate Ms. Duffin-Hickey helped create a meaningful experience that encouraged students to pursue their curiosity and engage in hands-on learning.
“The Science Fair provided students with a wonderful opportunity to investigate questions that interested them and share what they learned with others,” Ms. Duffin-Hickey revealed. “It was exciting to see the students’ enthusiasm and pride as they presented their work.”
Ms. Duffin-Hickey concluded:
“Bradley Gardens Primary School congratulates all participating students for their hard work, creativity, and commitment to scientific inquiry. The event was a celebration of learning and a reminder that curiosity is at the heart of discovery.”
