Bradley Garden Gov winenrs

Daniela Hudock and Manimekalai (Mani) Sivakumar received the elite Governor's Awards for 2024-2025 at the Bradley Gardens Primary School.

Ms. Hudock, who is a 4th Grade Teacher, was named the Governor's Educator of the Year Award winner, while Ms. Sivakumar, who is an Instructional Assistant, earned the Governor's Educational Services Professional Award.

"I am truly honored and humbled to be named Teacher of the Year," Ms. Hudock stated. "This recognition is not just about me--it's a reflection of the incredible students and supportive community I am fortunate to be a part of. Every day, I strive to create a classroom where each student feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow. I treat all my students as if they were my own child, and I'm committed to helping them reach their fullest potential."

"I'm honored and thankful for this recognition, but it was possible only because of the teachers and staff I work with every day," Ms. Sivakumar said. "Their support and collaboration means so much to me."

Two staff members received these prestigious awards at each of the 11 schools in the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District.

A ceremony will be held this spring to honor all 22 of the recipients. They will also be recognized at a Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District Board of Education meeting this winter.
