This year’s Teacher of the Year nominations paints a vivid picture of someone whose impact brightens every hallway, classroom, and corner of our school. Our winner has been sharing her talents with students in this district for nearly two decades, inspiring creativity and curiosity day after day. Colleagues described her as a spark—someone whose ideas and energy continually bring new color to our school community.
She is the first to jump in wherever she is needed—supporting the office, partnering with the PTO, or seeing through a crazy idea I stumble across. Her organizational skills are impressive, especially considering she balances responsibilities in two buildings.
And if you happen to walk by at just the right moment, you might catch her leading students in an impromptu dance party, laughter and music filling the air—a perfect reflection of the joy and creativity she brings to everything she touches.
It is my honor to announce that our 2025 Teacher of the Year is Jessie Marchand, our very own art teacher.
Our Educational Service Provider of the Year has been quietly making a huge impact in our school for the past six years. She moves through the hallways with remarkable speed, supporting multiple classrooms throughout her day, making sure both students and teachers have what they need to succeed.
As if juggling all of that weren’t enough, she’s often the first one in the building—helping teachers with bulletin boards, greeting students during arrival, and tackling a thousand little tasks that keep our school running smoothly. Her sense of humor is stealthy but unmistakable—catch it if you can!
Adored by students and staff, her presence brightens every space she enters, often without anyone even realizing the incredible work she’s doing behind the scenes.
