Book fair provides fun for all at Bradley Gardens

Reading is fun.

So there was a lot of fun experienced this past week at the Bradley Gardens Primary School in Bridgewater.

The Bradley Gardens Primary School Book Fair, sponsored by Scholastic Books, was on stage all week in the school’s media center.

There, Katie Rayburn, the Bradley Gardens Librarian/Media Specialist, operated the week-long fun when the students happily picked out their books.

“This really gets the kids excited about reading new books,’’ said Mrs. Rayburn.

The excitement was shared throughout the school’s hallways and even in the principal’s office.

“We love when the book fair comes to Bradley Gardens!” said Principal Barbara Binford. “From our emergent readers just starting on their journey here to our fluent readers searching for a popular series, our students have spent the week shopping during their library time for the latest and greatest Scholastic has to offer.”

The book fair will return in the spring when Mrs. Rayburn and her team will work during  another fun-filled week.

“We are thankful for Mrs. Rayburn, our media specialist for helping the students choose from the assortment and we are grateful to our PTO for arranging the fair and volunteering to work it,” Principal Binford said.
